Ranthambhore wildlife sanctuary – known for its tigers and one of the best places in India to see the Tigers in the jungle. Best time to visit Ranthambhore National Park is in Novermber and May when the nature of the dry deciduous forest makes tiger sightings common.
The national park lies at the edge of a plateau and is bounded by the Banas River in the north and the Chambal River in the South. There are many lakes in the park and it is named for the historic Ranthambhore fortress, which lies inside National Park.
